♐ RACE 1- 3YO FILLIES, 1400m ♐

💥#1 QUANG TRI (Save -$2.8)

It was some sort of win by this girl #7 CLIMBING STAR on debut... Wow.

‍

Love the way she lengthened out over the final 400m on debut. She is well up too a race of this quality.... Heavy ground the query? 

‍

#1 QUANG TRI ($2.8) is a tough filly... She looks to have returned in very good form going off her trial two back against some quality horses and was given a very soft trial at her most recent outing... Bound to be ready for this first up/stable.

‍

#9 LADY JONES ($67) isn't the worst roughie I've seen...  She will be much better for that debut run/experience and she's far from hopeless.

#3 HELL HATH NO FURY ($4.8) was good last start when going across line with JENNY JEROME... (That filly ran well in Thousand Guineas on Wednesday)

💥#8 EPONYMOUS * ew ($4.8)

💥#13 OCEANS ABOVE ew ($21)

Jeez he was a good thing licked last start #8 EPONYMOUS 😳.... Love the way he hurtled himself at the line when clear air presented itself though...  He's a nice horse, with a very sharp turn of foot!! 🌪️

‍

#13 OCEANS ABOVE ($21) is the overs in the race...  I wouldn't be discouraged by his first up run at Mooney Valley.... He wobbled around that track like a drunken soldier. 

‍

He can improve SHARPLY 2nd up here and let's not forget what he did on debut....

♐ RACE 6- ALINGHI STAKES ♐

‍

Tough Tough race!!!! Thought there were 5 winning chances.... !!? 😳

‍

In no particular order, here's the pro- con's on those runners.. 

‍

#1 MILEVA ($6.5)- Loves this track and trip.. (2/2) and a 4 time winner over 1100m. Handles Soft/Heavy, Drop in Class..  All positives.  59kgs the concern.? 

‍

#3 JUAN DIVA - ($5.5)- 1 from 1 at track...  Explosive win... Good fresh, big concerns on wet ground the negative.

‍

#4 NAJMATY - ($5) - Class horse.  Brilliant this track and fresh. Negatives- Barrier 13 and wet tracks.

‍

#9 SHALSTAR - ($9.5)- Flying.. 4 from 5. Handles going, been specked at odds.  Shinn on... All positives...  Negatives- Up in Class.

‍

#11- A VERY FINE RED - ($7.5)- Good horse. ZAPATEO form.. Handles soft ground..  Sydney form proving superior when coming south...

♐ RACE 7- CAULFIELD SPRINT, 1100M ♐

‍

💥#9 DRAGONSTONE win ($3.2)

‍

Think there's 3 major players in this.... Much like the previous race...  Found it hard to split them... 

‍

#9 DRAGONSTONE -($3.2)- Good horse..  Jumped out lovely in prep for this and gets in with only 53kgs. Loves wet ground, flies fresh...  The one too beat. 

‍

#2 GENERATION ($4.6)...   He's just a beauty..   Proper little race horse.  Impossible to knock. Negatives- 58kgs giving lots of weight too talented types.

‍

#11 ASFOORA -($4.8)- Very good mare... Electric turn of foot. Finally a decent hoop jumps on..  Good thing licked last start.. Negatives- Up in Class/This harder.

♐ RACE 9- G1 CAULFIELD CUP 🏆 ♐

‍

Very open race.  Don't let me put you off anything you may fancy...

My Top 4 in race with no confidence is the following...

💥#2 DUAIS ($17)

💥#17 SMOKIN ROMANS ($3.9)

💥#10 BENAUD ($10)

♎ RACE 4- C4, 1800m ♎

‍

💥#1 CON SPERANZA each way.

‍

" Con" looks very well placed in this grade with Nunes jumping on this time.

‍

3 starts back, over this identical trip, he was only beaten 1.5lens in the Group 1,  Singapore Derby by arguably Singapore's best horse,  in LIM'S KOSIUSKO...  (At level weights!!!) 

‍

Too think that more than half of this field are genuine Class 5 dogs and are given some hope/mentioned in the same breath as this horse in some of the local media outlets !?  

‍

Well... That's just being silly... Anything 'near' his best efforts will blow these away..

‍

#2 GLOBAL KID is the danger, but he is horribly hard too catch this horse.... 

‍

Hes  certainly more than capable on his day though and 1800m is also his pet trip. 

‍

The booking of Simon Kok is also a BIG positive...  He's a very good rider and in rare form the past 6 weeks or so.

‍

♎ RACE 7- C5, 1400m ♎

‍

💥#1 FIREWORKS win 

‍

He's a dangerous horse when he gets back int this Class #1 FIREWORKS. 

‍

He's been running well in Class 4 over sprint trips, but now drops in grade and gets to his pet trip of 1400m, where he is a 7 time winner over this distance.  

‍

Nunes goes on....  He ticks ALL the boxes ✅.

‍

#3 SONG OF NATURE & #6 ABSOLVIDO are the other two Class droppers who shouldn't be ignored here...  

‍

Both more than capable of sprinting hard and causing a boilover in this grade. (Big market watch strongly advised late on⁉️)

‍

♎ RACE 8- C3, 1800m ♎

‍

💥#2 MR BLACK BACK win 

💥Quin- 1, 2.

‍

One of the most interesting races all day/year for that matter! 

‍

Two high class animals in #2 MR BLACK BACK & #1 SUPER IMPACT lock horns over 1800m here.

‍

Both horses are trying to barge there way into the Singapore Gold Cup in a months time through the back door in this Class 3...

‍

It's a simple equation for MR BLACK BACK... You win, you're in.... You lose, you aren't.

‍

As for SUPER IMPACT...  A top 2 finish, should secure his spot in the field... 

‍

MR BLACK BACK is the joker in all Gold Cup packs/equations ... 🃏

‍

If he finds his way into that race with 50kgs on his back on November 19th, god help them.... ♟️♠️

‍

Intriguing race....  The two big guns will run 1,2 here.

♎ RACE 10- GROUP 1, QE2 CUP, 1800M ♎

‍

Cracking race....

‍

There look 4 main players in the race for mine...

‍

#4 HARD TOO THINK & #7 BIG HEARTED (needs wet to excel) are the Class in the race. 

‍

Stable mates  #10 RELENTLESS & #12 TRUMPY are the other two key players and can win without shocking.. 

‍

I know #1 HONG KONG GREAT has won on the turf in another life, but the fact of the matter is, he's a Poly/Sythentic horse..   

‍

He was in Hong Kong and he still is HERE..   Lay him. False favorite.

‍

#4 HARD TOO THINK looks to be back on track this time in and Beasley going on is a big plus. His best efforts see him the one to beat..

‍

Interestingly enough, the two horses with the best stats over this trip are both HARD TOO THINK (4 starts, 2 wins, 1 place) & TRUMPY (6 starts, 3 wins, 2 x 2nds)
