⭐🟩 RACE 1 🟩⭐

Tricky race, with little to no pace involved up front.... Maybe Tripoli and Galgani will take it up? 

‍

The two horses that are of my most interest in this are certainly the well weighted pair in the race. #3 ZOUSONIC ($5) & #4 IL AFFARE ($3.5)

‍

#4 IL AFFARE  returns here first up after a long layoff and has had two nice soft jump outs in prep for this...

‍

Her debut run in Australia was very good when a closing 4th behind some decent ones like (Agreeable, Frankie Pinot & Imperial Lad - who was flying at the time) 

‍

They looked to have given her an extended break since that run and if she returns here at as 'equal' as what she left, then she's the one too beat..

‍

#3 ZOUSONIC is in good form and should be peaking 3rd up now. She wouldn't know how to run a bad race, but she can be somewhat reliant on tempo, which is a slight concern how she maps here, hence I'm sitting on the fence and watching here.

‍

#7 MEGEMEA ($3.3) is a beauty and looks to have come back as good as ever this campaign...  Draws nicely again in 2, but is another who heavily relies on tempo in her races to produce her best.

Race 2 no2 THRON BONE win ($3.6)

Race 2 no11 WITHOUT ENVY ew ($10)

Two bet play here with the 2YO's up the Flemington straight ..

‍

#2 THRON BONE was super last week, when showing an electric turn of foot late to nail race hot pot, 'Ghaanati '....  

‍

While Ghaanati certainly threw it away, there's no knock whatsoever on this girl's performance.. 

‍

She was outstanding and I think the firmer surface here/Race experience will also play nicely in her favor..

‍

#11 WITHOUT ENVY ($10) is on debut for Danny O'Brien and I want to be saving each way on at the price/no weight/drawn right side.✅

‍

Her most recent jump out behind a smart  tearaway leader in 'Aysar' was good.  She worked through her gears nicely late under no real pressure and with Jye McNeil on top, with no weight, she is the big big watch horse!! 

‍

Respecting #5 CHASTON ($3.8) who was very professional on debut and hails from an inform stable... Hard to not see him being prominent on pace and competitive here

⭐🟩 RACE 3 🟩⭐

#4 WROTE TO ARATAKI ew ($4)

‍

Like the fact this inform filly gets back onto firmer ground...  While she handles wet going, I think she is a far better filly on top of the ground..

‍

The last time she saw decent ground, she ran slashing 2nd behind 'My Whisper' , who then went onto win at Group 3 level and place at Group 1 level....  It's good form!  

‍

From gate 1, Moor should get all the favors in running and if she can angle into the clear and have time to go through her gears, she has an outstanding turn of foot on her!! 

‍

#1 BELLA ROUGE ($4.8) is the class in the race, but the 60kgs is a big ask giving these all a lot of weight....? 

‍

#8 LIBERATED GIRL ($4.2) & #2 MY YANKEE ($4.2) come through the same formlines and ran well last start....  Liberated Girl in particular ran good closing splits for the day..!

⭐🟩 RACE 4 🟩⭐

#4 QUANG TRI ew ($5)

‍

QUANG TRI was very good winning at Swan Hill last start beating the toppy #1 KINGS CONSORT ($7).

‍

Kings Consort meets her 1.5kgs better at the weights for the last contest, but I'm not sure that will be enough to bridge the gap here!?   

‍

#12 FAIRY SPIRIT ($26) looked like he was just there for a poke around on debut...  He never looked likely in the run...  

‍

His prior jump outs were super, so I'm prepared to  keep him safe here at a price, especially if ridden more positively from the gates. (Market also vital this camp) 

‍

⭐🟩 RACE 5 🟩⭐

#4 ROCK UP win ($2.45)

#7 COUNTRY'S LIGHT ew ($12)

‍

ROCK UP was super last start from back in the field, when closing in very strongly once balanced up behind the talented 'Texas Tea'.

‍

With no 'Texas Tea' here today and this horse still looking to be projecting on an upward spiral, he certainly will take some holding out late...  His final 200m of his last start performance was very eye-catching.

‍

#7 COUNTRY'S LIGHT ($12) is a horse still learning his craft and can improve again... He has always shown good ability since day one this horse, but harnaasing it into complete performances, he has yet to master... 

‍

Distance should pose no problems for him and if he races tractably throughout and the breaks go his way, I expect him to attack the line hard again here and be in the top 4 finish ..

‍

#8 BISHOP ($15) was good last start and looks a young stayer with upside still.... Reluctant to leave him out of top 3-4 calculations against these.

NO.  Rubbish race.  Good luck if you're playing.. You'll need it .

#2 OCEAN BEYOND ew ($8)

#3 SURIUS SUSPECT ew ($5.5)

No real confidence here.

‍

Settled on two good 'straight track ' specialists here in Ocean Beyond & Sirius Suspect.

‍

While SIRIUS SUSPECT meets OCEAN BEYOND slightly better at the weights since there last outing up the straight, I have still found it hard to split this pair...

‍

Both ran super races at this track and trip two starts back and as is quite often the case in these straight races, the best ride/part of track to be wins the race.... 

‍

#10 FLORESCENT STAR ($13) gets the blinkers for the first time and has run well up the straight on numerous occasions....  Maybe the blinkers will spark her up!!??

Big 'Elvis' returns to his happy hunting ground this Saturday! He's a deadset marvel when he ventures south of the border and gets to headquarters.. 

‍

He's finished in the top 2 at ALL 5 occasions when lining up here Flemington and he's win here two starts back was astonishing!!! Why cant he win again?? 

‍

#10 PAULS REGRET ($26) looks well over the odds for mine at the price. His win in the Swan Hill cup last start was very good and he just looks be in career best form this time in.....   He's a must for wider exocits and quaddies....

‍

#12 TUVULAU ($3) starts under the odds again and draws gate 18...  He's a must for quaddies, but you can leave me out of him in any other betting considerations..  He's harder to predict than his trainer.

#7 FRANKIE PINOT ($10), #17 WINNING PARRTNER ($46) & #9 LUNAR FLARE ($41) are 3 others I'd be including in wider quaddie type bets..

#1 JIMMY THE BEAR ($14), #2 BLAZERRO ($8.5) #3 CARDINAL GEM ($2.7) & #5 LITERARY MAGNATE ($6.5) are the 4 class runners in the race and musts for Quaddie players.

Two bet play here in this interesting 2YO race in the first.

‍

#7 KLABEL has jumped out nicely in prep for this for Richard Jolly... He didn't beat much, but looked sharp enough to give this a shake on debut... Forever respecting the stables debutantes/placement.

‍

#6 JAJITTA BUG ($34) is the one I want to be saving on at big odds...  

‍

He did a bit wrong in his recent jump out, but once he got into his rythem, and changed his legs,  he picked up nicely, before being idled down in his heat ..... Happy to speck him at that big price to find out!!?.

‍

#4 SOAMES ($6) Was posted off the track 4-5 wide throughout last time in stronger grade and still boxed on well to finish as close as he did....

‍

Draws gate 12 again here, so he will need a great steer from Pannell to get him in the picture here...

⭐🔷 RACE 3 🔷⭐

#1 PRINCE OF HELENA ew ($4.8)

#2 SCOTTISH DANCER ew ($7)

Looks to have found a nice race here the "Prince"....

‍

He was heavily backed two starts back when we were with him and he found the wrong part of the track and still ran ok... 

‍

'Polanco' who run 2nd in that race, was a good thing licked at his subsequent run last week behind the highly touted "He's Our Bonneval" 

‍

The 'Prince' then went to Albury for an easy kill and now, back on the float he goes and  heads to Adelaide and finds himself in a very winnable race, where he gets in well with only 59.5kgs with the claim from Cam Rawillier. 

‍

#2 SCOTTISH DANCER ($7) ran well in the Swah Hill Cup, when only beaten 2.9lens behind far superior horses to this.....He's also well in after the 2kg claim.

#1 KARACASU * ($1.65)

‍

He looks to have found a lovely race this inform 3YO for David Jolly.

‍

He was super two starts back, when thrashing them in Adelaide, before taking on two very good 3YO's in Melbourne, when running 3rd behind Passive Aggressive & Star Patrol.....

‍

He ran very well there and this is FAAAAAR easier..

‍

He really should blow these away.

⭐🔶 RACE 4 🔶⭐

#4 OLD FASHIONED ew ($4.8)

‍

Not one to generally get excited about anything running in B58 grade in the bush, but this horse OLD FASHIONED really looks to have found a winnable race here..

‍

Two starts back on a Heavy track at Sandown at B70 level, he was only beaten 4 lens by Metropolitan class horses like Vitrivious, Marcolt and Fifth Position. That grade of horse would thrash these.

‍

He then ran in a solid Class 1 event, beaten under 2 lens to superior gallopers that what he faces here....

‍

At Benchmark 58 grade, it really is a BIG drops in class and at the $4.8 currently on offer, he looks a great each way play..
