Looks 3 main players in this race..

Loved the first up run of #1 JUCCONI when first up from a 30 week lay off! 

‍

BUT....  Can he replicate that type of performance 2nd up after a long break!!?(previous issues!!?)  

‍

Throw in the fact that he jumps from gate 11, around a tight track,  with a fair rider on board?!

‍

There are multiple queries and at the $3 on offer, he does come with his risks....??? 

‍

#6 SWEET KAROLINA has jumped out really well in preparation for this fresh run and Ollie is a key booking.

‍

She has tested the patience on multiple occasions this horse, and also draws a sticky gate in 10.... BUT.... She has dropped significantly in grade here.. !!! 

‍

She has been competing at B78 and B70 grade and gets back to B64 grade here where she won impressively at last time she competed in this grade! And at this track!! She's the one at a price for mine! 

‍

#10 SKYWOLF is the other key player in the race. He's also had a long layoff (41 weeks) but he certainly has the right form previously.. 

‍

Form around horses like 'Tadashi Hamada' who was sold to Hong Kong last year and a 3 time winner there already (Two at Class 3 level) certainly reads well for a moderate B64 like this..

#2 BLESS HER each way*** ($6.5)

‍

Really keen on the chances of this gutsy mare  #2 BLESS HER first up in this...

‍

She flies fresh this girl and from barrier 5, she can park 3rd or 4th off a solid tempo set by Yulong Command and sprint over the top of these! 

‍

Her most recent jump out was outstanding and she looks a terrific each way play at the current $6.5 on offer!! ✅

#3 THE INFERNO each way ($15)

#9 MARABI ($1.7)

Looking for a 'minor' upset here with the big boy "The Inferno" bowling over the hot pot #9 MARABI.... 

‍

YES...  Its possibly unlikely, but I can't see how one is $1.7 and the other is at $15....?? 

‍

#9 MARABI is dead set flying and she's achieved far more than I've given her credit for.... 

‍

She's been beautifully placed throughout her career and she just keeps hurdling each and every obstacle put in front of her with ease! Is she the deserved favorite!?. Absolutely! But a $1.70 chance? Absolutely NOT! 

‍

#3 THE INFERNO nearly fell flat on his face first up, when serial pest "Profiteer" veered 90 degrees after jumping and nearly took out half the field...  It was a complete forgive run.... 

‍

He also seems to save his best performances for this Mooney Valley circuit and I think if there is one chink in the favorites armour, then hel be the one to pounce on them late! 

‍

He's a very good horse and way over the odds for mine!! 

‍

🇦🇺 MORPHETVILLE SATURDAY 🥷

Adelaide racing is a shadow of it's old self these days with it's 'Deplorable' riding ranks.  

‍

Nevertheless, we think we've found a horse in rare form at the moment that we can cash in on Saturday with 🏇💥

#2 HARLEYMOVEN win*** ($2.6)

‍

This guy really had a big flashing light all over him when he really sprouted wings late last start behind a very smart filly in Ancient Girl..

‍

While he never looked a winning chance, he certainly had "Back me next time" written all over him!!! 🚨🧐

‍

Finds an easier race to strike here!

#1 YAK ISHI ($2) & #6 DO IT LA ($2).

‍

Can't split this pair of 2YO's..  

‍

I thought they both ran super last start behind the smart "Letsrollthedice" at Flemington in harder grade..

‍

Absolutely no value in the race, but it's hard to see these two not fighting out the finish if they have both held there form.!!?

🟦 RACE 3 🟦

#9 FOREVER FREE each way ($12)

#10 YULONG DEFENCE each way ($8)

#8 LITTLE STEVIE each way ($15)

‍

BOXED QUIN/TRIFECTAS - 2,8,9,10.

‍

While I conceed that #2 MIDWEST ($2.35) is airborne and a deserved favorite in this, there looks to be good/early each way value that can be shopped around the favorite if he gets softened up in the lead Saturday.

‍

#9 FOREVER FREE has jumped out very well on a couple of occasions leading into this and from gate 1, she can get the gun run here.. 

‍

She's 2 from 3 first up and I think she looks primed to go off fresh at odds! 

‍

#8 LITTLE STEVIE is in career best form and attacking the line this preparation like a mare in rare form! At the current $15 on offer, she's certainly worth entertaining on an each way line! 

‍

#10 YULONG DEFENCE has jumped out super at Pakenham recently and looks ready to run a huge one fresh here! 

‍

That 'In The Boat' form reads well now and from a good gate with only 56kgs, he's sure to be in the finish!

#12 LA VINA each way ($12)

#11 JUMP THE BROOM ($2.8)

We liked this horse last weekend and they elected to scratch and save her for this race.  She jumped out like a rocket recently and from gate 5, with only 55.5kgs on her back, we expect her to sprint very well fresh!

#11 JUMP THE BROOM is 3/3 so far for the Hawkes stables. She's a lightly raced mare, but going by her recent jump outs, she looks primed for a big big run here fresh!

#12 ANCIENT GIRL win ($2.6)

#1 RHINOCEROS each way ($21)

#12 ANCIENT GIRL spanked them last start in Adelaide.  She did it both ends on that occasion and really broke there hearts with her sustained speed! 

‍

She's pretty smart and the one to beat again here!! 

‍

#1 RHINOCEROS is the big overs in the race at $21 and I would be saving on him each way at the price! 

‍

While he's form may not read overly flattering this campaign, he has had his excuses and his most recent jump out leading into this was strong enough to suggest that he's more of a $8-10 chance in this..

‍

#5 SHARP RESPONSE ($9) Is a horse I also have plenty of time for. He's been given some 'Horror' steers throughout his short career, but if the cards fall his way he can be right in the finish here and reluctant to leave him out.!?

#15 IT'S TORNADO STORM ew ($17)

I think there is two good priced roughies in this 'lucky last' at Mornington that the punters can blast out on!

#1 TROSETTE is an Ex-Kiwi gallloper having his first Australian start for Paddy Payne...  

‍

I was really taken by his most recent jump out, where he made very good ground late on and he looks ready to go off here first up over a mile at big odds!!

#15 IT'S TORNADO STORM is the other big overs in the race at his current price ($17)... 

‍

He's been terrific winning his last two at Sandown and the form from his win 2 starts back has stood up very well since (Beat Glassey Miss, who then won a strong race at Flemington last week).

‍

#14 CONFRONTATIONAL ($34) is the other roughie in the race that I would be including in quaddies. 

‍

He showed pace at his most recent jump out and looked quite sharp and forward for this first up run! 

‍
