⭐#2 CYLINDER win ($3)

⭐#10 REMEDIES ew ($3.6)

The boys in Blue (GOLDOLPHIN) have ambushed this opener. (3x runners)

They're very hard to beat in these early season 2YO races in particular.

We can also be assured that they will drip feed out a whole host of these nice young blue bloods over the coming weeks.

They have plenty of bullets in that yard, yet  to be fired!  🔷♟️

#2 CYLINDER ($3) looks to have loads of potential and pretty keen on him here.

He is certainly the pick of Goldolphin  runners in this for mine. He should of won on debut.

He jumped from 11 on that occasion, missed the kick slightly, then one by one, picked them off, too only just miss. It was a BIG run!!

From Gate 1 this time, providing he jumps cleanly and the breaks go his way, he looks to possess a superior turn of foot and with even luck, be able to overhaul his nifty little stable mate- #10 REMEDIES ($3.6)

REMEDIES from Gate 10, will  need to be used up a tad early here to cross them, to either lead or sit outside the pace facing the breeze.

From this tricky draw, she has no other option?

We were very keen on her (REMEDIES) on debut.

She had jumped out very impressively/professionally leading into that (It was a smart win).

But she was aided by a peach steer by  Mark  "Bart" Zahra.

He was able to get her across and dictating from wide gate very easily. He then stacked em, racked em- Dictated-   Race over! ♟️

She is a ready made, well educated, speedy little bulldog this girl.  These early 2YO races are certainly made for her.  Her time is now.

I highly doubt they will give it to her on a plate this time.....   It would be silly/suicide too give her an easy lead again. Especially from gate 10.

If she is made to work early, withstanding her stablemate - CYLINDER's big finale inside the last 100m  will be her acid test.

#9 HYDROGEN POWER ($21) & #7 GANGIATINO ($9) look the two value runners in the race and Top 4 finishes won't shock.

Both have jumped out well in prep for this.  In particular - HYDROGEN POWER who's last hit out was quite impressive.

⭐#1 BRUCKNER ew ($5)

⭐#9 ROSE QUARTZ ew ($8)

There looks STACK of pace in this!!! 😳

Numbers - 2,5,7 & 10 in particular can really humm along early.

With that in mind, I wanna be with what look to be the three most dangerous stalkers in the race-   #1 BRUCKNER ($5) - #4 STREETCAR STRANGER ($8.5) - & #9 ROSE QUARTZ ($8) all on an each way line and boxed up in Quinellas.

#1 BRUCKNER does come with his queries.

He is first up here after more than a year on the sidelines. He has to give them all weight.... Its hardly ideal..?  But he is the Class horse in the race.

He has had two solid enough jump outs in prep for this and he has been well backed in early markets.  If there was no support for him race day, it would certainly be alarming.

It would be some training performance all the same,  if he does happen to knock these off first up after 56 weeks off 😳

He does boast a 2nd to Home Affairs in the G1 COOLMORE last start. Even if it was a year ago...  Not many of these have that on there CV.

He also has  'Artorious' head on his resume. At this track!

While I'm sure he will improve from whatever he does first up here, I'm trusting the camp wouldn't have him here at all if they didn't think he'd come up well?

Especially considering he's still a stallion.

Forget-  #4 STREETCAR STRANGER's run last start at MV on a Heavy deck. He doesn't go on either.

His fate was sealed 50m after they jumped. He's much better than that.

He gets back onto his favored /dry ground here. He has a lethal 2nd up record. AND he loves this track and distance.

Throw in the fact that he only has 54kgs on his back, in a race with a stack of tempo on up front early, then it'll be hard to make any excuses for him if he fails, as the race really should set up ideally for him?!

D-Day looms for him !?

⭐#9 GET UP GIRL ew ($11)

⭐#13 BELMIA ew ($13)

⭐#11 CASTE ew ($11)

Relying on a strong tempo up front here with my 3 Top selections in the race.

#12 THE UNICORN should ensure that. Especially from gate 12 with-  Craig "Handle Bars down " Newitt on top.

#9 GET UP GIRL ($11) looks a lovely each way bet in this at good odds, in a race that should pan out nicely for her.

She's a nice filly and that  'MAGIC TIME' (smart horse) form line, from her  last start performance, will likely stand up very well going forward.

From Gate 14, she will just have to take her medicine early, drift back and watch it all unfold. But that's her pattern anyway.

With a hot tempo on up front almost assured (and hopefully an even playing surface), she should get her chance to let loose when it matters and steam roll these if she's good enough.

#13 BELMIA ($13) is also a get back-run on filly, that also draw wide in gate 11.

She has a near identical profile, to that of GET UP GIRL.

I can envisage the pair of them, side by side, out the back early- Looking and hoping for the same type of speed map to unfold.

Much like GET UP GIRL- She is a progressive filly that I want to follow going forward next prep regardless of what she does here. Both have bright futures.

#11 CASTE ($11) has been very good at her only two career starts so far.

She also draws favorably here this time, enabling her to possibly settle a tad closer in the run (midfield) and get an economical  run in transit.

(Something she hasnt been afforded in her first two  career starts)

She still does a bit wrong and learning her craft, but her debut win was outstanding.

Im sure she will be a better filly next time in,  but from a nice draw Saturday,  where she should do no work in the run, along with the Winkers going on for the first time here-  She is more than capable of giving these a fright.

⭐#7 LITERARY MAGNATE win ($3.4)

⭐#5 POLAND ew ($8.5)

⭐#3 CROSSHAVEN ew ($8)

Love the way #7 LITERARY MAGNATE ($3.4) has come back this prep. She's a mare in very good form (stick)!

She's always promised a lot this since day one this horse. Her first two runs this prep indicate the penny has dropped with her.

While her best form has been on softer ground, she looks more mature this time in and she finds a very winnable race.

Most of these are - 'Over the Top has beens'. She is one of very few in this is , still on the up.

#5 POLAND ($8.5) finally showed a glimpse of his oldself last start... His best efforts could win this.

Doing/ seeing him put two good runs in a row together is the query?   Not sure its been high on his agenda for a while.

#3 CROSSHAVEN ($8) is a frustrating horse. He is a disapointing horse.

I'm reluctant on totally dismissing him in this as much as I want too.

That fact he faces a bunch of other non winners,  generally races well here as a rule  and with  "Bart" Zahra  jumping back on, he is going to get one last thought/dash of respect against these.

He could of been anything early days this horse.. He was a dominant juvenile.

BUT unfortunately over time-  He seems to have  adopted a lot of the same type of traits, a certain stable mate of his,  mastered a long time ago-(So SI Bon).

*Unreliable ☑️

* Impossible to catch ☑️

* Hates winning ☑️☑️☑️

He's well and truly on notice today CROSS-BON BON  #LifeBanLooms 🧐🚯👈

⭐#1 KINGS CONSORT ew ($15)

I have no doubt #3 THE FORTUNE TELLER ($4) is the Class horse in the race and the most likely winner of the race.

If he puts it all together (Debatable), he will trounce these. He's very talented.

BUT while he's still a colt.... Along with reguraly wanting to over do  it' in the run??

Being at the end of a busy preparation....??

AND at the 1600m........??

These are all still big queries and things that have to be taken into account before you go  rushing into him with any great  confidence !??

#1 KINGS CONSORT ($15) on the other hand, is as genuine as they come.

He looks big overs in this  and I want to be saving on him each way at the price.

His 3 runs this prep have all been very good.

In particular, his run two back at Flemington (Magic Time, Get Up Girl race).

He looks ready to peak (4th up)  here,  on a track where he recorded his biggest career victory. The 1600m  also poses no concerns.

⭐#14 CLIFF'S ART ew ($13)

⭐#3 MY WHISPER ew ($5.5)

⭐#8 ROOTS ($3.6)

Forever wary when this stable (M.Smith) bring one south of the border. They rarely do it for fun.

#14 CLIFF'S ART ($13) looks gross overs in this. I thought her run in the G2 - HOT DANISH in Sydney last start behind the smart SHEEZA BELTER was very good.

She had to carry 57kgs on that occasion and did it the hard way, 3 wide the trip.

She draws to get a lovely run here, park herself midfield and be strong late.

#8 ROOTS ($3.6) is going very well this time in and  clearly can't be ignored.

I'm just not sure there should be $10 difference in the markets though between her and CLIFFS ART??

#3 MY WHISPER ($5.5) is a very good mare and she is the  one i want to be saving on each way in this.

She also gets back onto better/firmer ground here. She's a better mare on top of the ground..

Zahra takes over. She draws a good gate and she should get an ideal run in the race midfield ready to strine at the right time.

She ticks a lot of boxes and hails from a very good stable. ✅✅✅✅

🎬 RACE 4- 1017m MAIDEN 🥷

⭐#6 MOURN MAID win * ($2.6)

I like this 4YO mare on debut today at Moe. She jumped out impressively on 3 occasions now.

Of her jump outs, she has also looked to improve each and every time she's stepped out.

Considering her first jump out was a nice 2nd (Big gap to 3rd) to the smart Moody horse, COTEL who is now two from two after winning impressively at Cranbourne Friday night at B70 level.

She looks ready to go first up, she shows very good early pace and she should lead and beat these on debut.

   Good Luck !!! 🥷👊
