TRICKY RACE!!!‼️

‍

From the jump outs, there is certainly some interest in the unraced brigade.

‍

#2 COSMIC AURA ($12) has had 6 jump outs in preparation for this debut run and his last jump out was clearly his best..

‍

He ran good time for the morning, when showing good pace and thrashing them.

‍

The 2nd horse from that jump out (Lethal Thoughts) then came out and won impressively on Wednesday at Sale on debut. He is right in this at odds.

The Maher/Eustace pair in #4 ZOUTHUR ($4.2) & #8 ROYAL INVADER ($5.5) are both also on debut and have jumped out like horses with above average ability...

‍

Impossible to doubt the stable and I expect both to run well.

‍

Of the raced brigade, #5 HELLHOUND ($2.5) was super on debut. I love the way this filly pins her ears back and attacks the line.. She's still very green and has a tendacy to lay in, but she has loads of ability and a deserved favorite in this..

#1 PORT ALBERT ($5) had no favors on debut, when posted wide and back, off a slowish tempo....

‍

He comes through what will be a very good form race, (3rd to Cannonball & Eye Of The Eagle) and with race experience on his side, a better gate, more spacious track, he can win!!!

Take your pick!!???

🟣 RACE 3 🟣

‍

#1 JUCCONI ($3) is a nice horse! And while he goes up in grade here, he can win again.

‍

I've loved the way this big boy gets into his work once balanced up and I think the Sandown Hillside course is going to be right up his alley, with it's big wide open spaces!

‍

#9 STRETTO ($5) is a nightmare to follow 👀🤯.... His win 2 starts back at this track was outstanding, then flopped when heavily backed at his next start.

‍

He's a 2 x time winner from 18 starts for a reason. So while he scares me, he's just too inconsistent to be rushing into him at $5.

‍

While he is a big baby still JUCCONI, I think he's a horse on the rise, compared to a lot of his well exposed rivals in this.

🟣 RACE 7 🟣

There's two fillies in this that I think have very bright futures and are also extremely well weighted in this event.

‍

#2 BELLE SAVIOR ($3.7) and #12 TAHLEQUAH ($7)

‍

Everything went wrong for BELLE SAVIOR last time and it was an ill-judged steer to boot.

‍

She is much much better than that and getting back to the Sandown Hillside course, where Jye McNeil replaces Blake McDougall, are two HUGE ticks!! ✅✅

‍

The 1600m should pose no problems and she's the one to beat here.

‍

#12 TAHLEQUAH is a smart horse and I loved her final furlong at Pakenham last start when she really knuckled down and went through her gears.

‍

The 1600m is right up her alley now and the hlllside track will also be ideal.

‍

I think there are 3 key players in this.

#5 REGARDSMAREE $4)

‍

#8 THOUGHT OF THAT ($7.5)

‍

#12 BEAUFORT PARK ($16)

‍

#5 REGARDSMAREE ($4) is the class in the race and on the quick back up after bowling over G1 performed horses in Lombardo, The Astrologist and Swats That last weekend!

‍

Throw in the fact, that he rises to his favorite distance of 1400m, (where 5 of his 6 victories have been over) and it's clear that he's the one they ALL have to topple.

‍

#8 THOUGHT OF THAT ($7.5) is more of a middle distance/staying type, but I've loved his recent jump outs..

‍

He looks to have come back in very good form going off his most recent piece of work and the stable know how to produce them first up.

‍

#12 BEAUFORT PARK was desperately unlucky last start in a race where I think the form will well and truly stand up going forward.

‍

He was back in the ruck early doors, but he looked to have a lap full to give over the concluding stages when door after door closed on him when looking to let down.

‍

He's the big overs in the race and I definitely want to have something small on him at the big price.

#6 SIR DAVY ($5) draws an awkward gate in 15, but hel go back anyway. He's last start win was very good.

‍

While he's always been a horse with above average ability, the penny really looks to have dropped with him now..

‍

He is up in Class here, but I think he still has a few rating points up his sleeve this talented 4YO and FAR more upside than most of these..
