🟥 RACE 1.

Good race for the 2YO's. 

Been really impressed with a couple of them, and one particular from the jump outs.  The speedy Snitzel filly #10 WEE NESSY ($3.6)... Drawn gate 9, Jamie Kah rides.

Loved the way this girl changes gears when asked.  She looks a very talented type and will take some catching in this.

Loved the debut win of #2 SUPERSET ($8.5) He still does a lot wrong but still has huge upside. 

I have a feeling the Flemington straight will also suit him and I like that he's drawn 10, so he can drift back and peel to the wider part of the straight and have the last shot at them if that's the desired ground to be in.

Benny Melham (airborne) also sticks which is a good lead. He's as big, big hope in this! 

I've also liked what I've seen from the Sydney visitor #1 MUMBAI JEWEL ($4.2).  Mark Zahra a key booking. (Also airborne!)

As stated weeks ago, Zahra & Melham are the two best jockeys in Melbourne right now.. Jot it down... Big race riders, win big races. 

#6 CRYSTALIST ($7.5) is also on debut from the Matty Ellerton stable.. Damien Lane rides.

He has shown good speed in his jump outs and the likley leader down the flat side in this.

🟥 RACE 3. 

#9 ROSE QUARTZ ($2.45) is weighted to win with only 54kgs and has an affinity with the Flemington straight.. She's a mare in rare form at the moment. 

Definitely need to save on #2 SEPERIUM ($13) though even with the big weight (62kgs)..  He's a bit of a enigma this horse,  but he's very well placed at Benchmark 90 level.

His run last start behind arguably one of the Top 3 sprinters in the world right now in (Lost n Running) was outstanding! 

He's more than capable of steam rolling these!

Back #9 ROSE QUARTZ ($2.45) to win & save on  #2 SEPERIUM ($13) at the big odds.

🟥 RACE 4.

Like the O'Shea trained 3YO filly #11 JAL LEI ($10) each way in this...  I expect that price to trim right up come race day! 

Thought she was terrific first up, then in much harder grade, she didn't have much luck at all behind a few smart ones like 'Fan Girl', 'Esponio' & 'Jamaea' ..... 

Those 3 horses would towel these up! 👀

She looks well over the odds for mine and one of the better each way bets all weekend.

🟥 RACE 6- G2 BLAMEY STAKES.

#10 INSPIRATIONAL GIRL was very good first up behind Tofane in the G1 CF ORR.

She ran home equally as good as I'm Thunderstruck did on that occasion, from back in the field in a race where the backmarkers had no hope the way the race was run...

With only 53kgs on her back, (6kgs less than Zaaki has to carry) she is very well suited, especially with a run now under her belt.

She's is also 3 from 3 at the distance and also 3 from 3 when 2nd up! ✅✅

She looks a magnificent each way play at the current $5 on offer and with the inform D.Lane in the saddle.

#1 ZAAKI ($2.5) is a star and the clear class in the race.. 

While he is outstanding fresh, the $5M All Star Mile is his target race and whatever he does in this, he's going to improve a stack 2nd up! 

They look the two clear class horses in this and should fight out the finish.

Back #10 INSPIRATIONAL GIRL ($5) each way and take boxed Exactas/quinella's with #1 ZAAKI in the race.

🟥 RACE 7- G1 AUSTRALIAN GUINEAS.

Cracking race over a mile for the 3YO's. 

#1 HITOTSU ($4.6) & #3 PROFONDO ($4.2) are the two big dogs in this. 

PROFONDO is an absolute star and could be anything! Ditto HITOTSU!! 

I thought HITOTSU first jump out was VG, but his most recent one was a tad baffling to be honest!??  He really didn't go well at all!?? 🥵.....  

He wouldn't be here if all wasnt well, but instead of being a clear on top selection, there are a couple of little queries for mine going off his most recent hit out??

PROFONDO is a big strong brut that could be in for one hell of an Autumn carnival! He's all class and I'd be shocked if he didn't play a big part in the finish! 

#4 FORGOT YOU ($12) had a flashing light on him first up, he will improve sharply here and gets the services of Mark Zahra. 

#9 PINSTRIPED ($9) is 3 from 3 and a very nice horse that continues to impress, in everything he does..

Clearly this is his stiffest test to date, but he gives every indication that he's up to it!

Back #3 PROFONDO ($4.2) each way & just monitor the betting with star colt #1 HITOTSU ($4.6)??? 

🟥 RACE 8- BOB HOYSTED SPRINT. 

Thought #9 SWORD OF MERCY ($8.5) presented good each way value in this. 

She was terrific first up at Caulfield behind Marine One and Oxley Road (since ran super in the G1 Oakley plate) and beat home talented galllopers like Artorious & Ingratiating. 

She has a very good record over the track and distance and with only 54kgs in this and D.Lane on her back, she will take some catching.

#2 BROOKLYN HUSTLE ($6.5) is the class mare in the race.  Her get back/run on style certainly does her no favors though.  

She is forever running into dead ends in her races, but if she see's any clear air late in running, she will charge at them! 

#5 EXPRESS PASS ($19) is a very good straight track horse. He may lack the class of a couple of these, but he certainly saves his best efforts for the Flemington straight and could surprise.

Back #9 SWORD OF MERCY ($8.5) & #2 BROOKLYN HUSTLE ($6.5) both each way.

🇦🇺 MURRAY BRIDGE 🐎

🟥 RACE 6

Like  #9 ANOTHER AWARD each way in this ($4.5).

She charged at them late first up and was narrowly beaten by All Banter who contests a much stronger race at Flemington on Saturday..

She's placed 3 from 4 when 2nd up and has a very good record at Murray Bridge (4 starts, 1x win, 3 x Placing's) 

From a good gate, in a race that looks to have a lot of tempo, she should be able to use the big wide open spaces of Murray Bridge to her advantage at launch at them late...

Back #9 ANOTHER AWARD ew ($4.5)

🟥 RACE 7.

#6 BLUESTONE LANE ($18) ventures across the border, where he finds a very winnable B68 event..

He is extremely hard to catch this horse, but he's poorly ridden more often than not throughout his career since returning to Australia after a stint in Singapore..

His 4th last start to the airborne "Midwest" at Mooney Valley where anything off the pace had no hope was much better than it reads and after the 2kg claim from Lachie Neindorf, he gets in very well at the weights..

The current price of $18 on fixed odds, looks ridiculous overs.
