🇦🇺 CAULFIELD 🏇

🟥 RACE 4, GROUP 3, CHAIRMAN'S STAKES.

Really nice race for the 2YO's here with a few of these with there eyes firmly planted on possibly the G1 Blue Diamond Stakes in the coming weeks.

Have really liked the jump outs of the  Hawkes trained debutante here in SEBONACK ($4.8). He looks a very athletic youngster out of a very good 2YO sire in Capitalist.

He was never out of first gear in his jump outs (against quality opposition) and I really liked the way these guy covered the ground with such ease... From the ideal barrier (2)

The Goldolphin trained runner/main threat in the race is RENOSU ($2.4)... He draws right next to SEBONACK here in gate 3, but will most likely look to take a sit just off them and tag SEBONACK into the race (That would be my game plan) ...

RENOSU has been well specked in early Blue Diamond markets ($9), so while I expect him to improve from this run, he will  certainly be forward enough to win here without shocking.

🟥 RACE 5, GROUP 3, MANFRED STAKES.

Ripping little race! And I've always been a fan of this 3YO GENERATION ($3.2)..

He's a little beauty this bloke! He wouldn't know how to run a bad race and it's hard not to admire horses like this guy who just pin there ears back and attack the line. He's a ready made little professional!

UNFLINCHING ($2.8) has been very good to us since debuting and winning 3 on the trot! You would love to own him! ...

He tackles the 1200m for the first time which Is my only little query with him, but I like the way he relaxed last time mid race and then sprinted quickly, when thrashing them at the valley! He's a very good horse and if he runs the 1200m, he's the one to beat!!

Looks a nice quinella race!!

UMGAWA ($18) is racing very well this time, but may lack the genuine class of GENERATION & UNFLINCHING.  If they happened to over cook it up front early, he could be the one that descends on them late at big odds and causes a boilover!

ZETHUS ($16) comes south of the border for his first up run.... Always wary of the Goldolphin horses when they cross the  border and it would be foolish to put a line through a colt that has beaten "HOME AFFAIRS" in his first preparation!! 😨👀

Good race!!!

🟥 RACE 7, BM 100, 1800m.

HO HO KHAN ($6) is flying and won with some real authority last start when well piloted by Jordan Child's.

Remarkably Jordan Child's has been immediately replaced by a far inferior "Bush hoop"  that butchered the life out of the horse at her previous sit on him.. Go figure!!?? 😨🤷

HO HO KHAN's most recent jump out since his last start victory was also Very very good!!!..... Only needs a good steer to win this .. 😐

ZIEGFIELD ($11) looks over the odds for mine and one worth having a small saver on...  I liked his first up run in Sydney and the 1800m looks ideal now... Oliver rides..Can win..

DESERT ICON ($3.4) gets into the race with a lightweight and brings the right type of form to Melbourne to win a race of this nature at the weights..... Has to be respected at the weights alone, let alone the stable.

🟥 RACE 9, B78, 1600M.

TUVALU ($1.85) is a smart horse! He made a mess of them first up at WBool in a B64 (2nd and 3rd place getters since won)..

He is a horse that is still on an upward spiral and when you got back through his runs last preparation, (2nd to G1 Star-  I'm Thunderstruck twice) it's hard to see anything in this bothering him too much!

While he is rock bottom odds at ($1.85) he certainly looks one of the better bets all weekend!!

SAVANNAH CLOUD ($6) has come back in terrific shape this preparation and is far more genuine than his early runs in his career...  While he lacks the class of TUVALU, he will certainly run well and a top 2-3 finish looks highly likely.

THREEANDFOURPENCE ($46) was given yet "another" poor ride first up and can improve sharply out to the mile with the blinkers going on ... He's a 3 time winner over this trip!

OUR DESTRIER ($19) is in career best form!  While he does get 4kgs off horses like Tuvalu at the weights, he would still need to find 3-4 lens to trouble him! Top 4 chance at a price.
