After identifying some big priced winners AGAIN for the BetU followers last weekend at Flemington including "PHILADELPHIA STORM" at 34-1 odds, we again set our sights at on delivering another knock out blow at headquarters with a big pre Xmas card full of some nice value jig has identified.

Open race. Looks to be 3 main chances in this that I want to work around and two of them draw ideally to do no work in the run - LUNA CAT (Barrier 1) & HONEYCREEPER (barrier 2).
LUNA CAT ($4.4) has come back this prep in great order! She was terrific at the Valley last start when getting onto a firmer surface and she really pinned the ears back and put them to the sword late, when she won with some real authority!
I have a very simple philosophy with Fillies/Mares when they are airborne...= STICK WITH THEM!!
HONEYCREEPER ($5) for the ever powerful Goldolphin outfit send this filly south for this and she looks extremely well placed (As always)... Oliver jumps on, draws ideally and she looks a filly with loads of natural improvement and a horse that will really appreciate the wide open spaces of Flemington...
I think you can back Luna Cat & Honeycreeper both each way and be winning on this race...
The other runners I have plenty of respect for and shouldn't be left out of Trifectas & First 4 thoughts are #2 LAVISH GIRL ($4.8- Lady Of Honor & Decent Raine form is VG for this grade!) #JENNIFERENTI ($23 is overs) & the erratic, yet talented #8 SOENEE ($5)
Found it hard to split #2 SQUID GAME ($2.8) & #6 MURRAMI EXPRESS ($6) in this....
SQUID GAME was visually very impressive on debut at Sandown and beat a subsequent MV winner in (Treporti)...
He did get an easy time of it mid race and this is harder, but he looks very well educated this boy and will take a lot of holding out...
MURRAMI EXPRESS had a good first preparation and I really liked his recent jump out leading into this first up.. The money also arrived as soon as the markets opened for this so I'd be respecting the early push for him..
I think one of the two win this and you can back both.
Anyone who knows or follows my write ups, knows I despise these "Off season slog fest" events... They are rubbish...
BUT...... I must say, this horse WYCLIF ($5.5) is ready to win ..
His last run was a good at Pakenham where he had no luck in running behind the flying THE AWESONE SUN.
3rd up now, fit, Jye McNeil on , no weight, soft gate.....He looks ready to peak and ticks all the right boxes to strike against this soft bunch of "Will be hurdlers" ..✅💥
Not overly keen on the race, but I thought the recent jump out of #2 ODEON ($8) was one that indicated that the old boy had come back well this time in! 🧐
YES, he's a 103 years old, but this race lacks depth and his best of 'yester year' would run these into the ground!
He hasnt budged since markets opened and I'm expecting him to run a cheeky one fresh here at odds.
#5 SECOND SLIP ($3) ran well at listed level last start in Adelaide, draws a soft gate and is thrown in at the weights (54kgs). . He's the one to beat.
I'd be backing SECOND SLIP straight out and saving on ODEON each way here for a result.
#5 IT'SOURTIME ($3.5) is one of the better bets all day... He is flying this horse..
He was huge last start up the straight in cup week, when running very slick time and has since jumped out nicely to tune him up nicely for this race.. A repeat of his last start performance sees him win again..
#11 SIXBYSIXTYTHREE ($3.7) is 3 from 3 and one of the more interesting runners all day! He continues to the raise the bar each and every start, but this is by far his stiffest test!!
If he knocks these off, he's a Very very good horse!!
Best roughie in the race for mine is #6 POLANCO ($41).... Thought he moved well in a recent jump out and big run fresh here won't shock...
#9 SIG POSITANO ($7) Is absolutely airborne this time in and shouldn't be left out of Trif/F4/Quaddies.
#11 REAL SENSATION ($4.6) finds the right race to strike here.. He is extremely well weighted with only 54kgs on his back.
He really put the writing on the wall last start at Pakenham when he carried 58kgs and was a slashing 3rd behind "Looks Like Elvis" & "Winning Partner".... (Both those horses would be $1.6 chances against these! )....
5th up here, rock hard fit and a nice tempo up front to work home off all work right into his hands in this and he looks one of the better bets ALL DAY!
Really liked the recent jump out of the filly #7 SCORCHED EARTH ($8) in this...
Damian Oliver takes the reigns, draws ideally in 8 and depending on which side they tend to be trending throughout the day, Ollie has all the options up his sleeve from this gate...
1000m first up looks perfect also, carrying only 55kgs and the fact that $8 is still available on fixed odds markets, looks great each way shopping for mine!
She ticks all the right boxes here and looks one of the better each way BETS all day for mine!
SWEETZOU the danger and one I'd be saving each way on ($9).
She looks to have come back super this mare. She was VERY GOOD first up and again looks extremely well suited/weighted (53kg after Josh Richards claim) at B78 level.
#2 YULONG COMMAND ($4.4), #4 EASY SINGLE ($7) & #1 ALLEBOOM ($13- Wary when Jolly Stable bring them across border with such good strike rate in doing so) next best.
